Refund Policy
1. Overview
This Refund Policy explains the terms and conditions under which Build Beyond Hightech LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) may issue refunds for purchases made through the Rendrio platform at rendrio.io. Due to the nature of digital video generation services, where computing resources are consumed upon use, our refund policy is designed to be fair to both our customers and our business.
2. Eligible Refund Scenarios
You may be eligible for a refund or credit in the following situations:
2.1 Failed Video Generation
If Rendrio fails to generate a video due to a technical error on our end (such as a server failure, rendering crash, or system outage), you will receive a full credit for the failed generation. This credit will be automatically applied to your account and can be used for a future video generation. If you prefer a monetary refund instead of a credit, you may request one within 14 days of the failed generation.
2.2 Duplicate Charges
If you are charged more than once for the same purchase due to a payment processing error, we will promptly refund the duplicate charge. Please contact us with your transaction details and we will resolve the issue.
2.3 Unauthorized Charges
If you believe a charge was made to your account without your authorization, please contact us immediately. We will investigate the matter and issue a refund if the charge is confirmed to be unauthorized.
3. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds are generally not available in the following situations:
- Successfully generated videos that do not meet your subjective quality expectations. While we strive for high quality, video output depends on the content and structure of the submitted website.
- Videos generated from URLs that you submitted in error. Please verify your URL before initiating generation.
- Credits that have been used to generate videos, regardless of whether you downloaded the final output.
- Account termination due to violation of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy.
- Change of mind after a purchase has been completed and credits have been allocated.
- Service interruptions caused by factors outside our control, such as third-party service outages, natural disasters, or force majeure events.
4. Credit Pack Refunds
All purchases are one-time credit packs (Single Render or Pack). There are no subscriptions, recurring charges, renewals, or billing periods, so there is nothing to cancel.
- If you purchased a credit pack within the last 14 days and have not used any of the credits it added to your account, you may request a full refund of that purchase.
- Once any credit from a pack has been used to generate or render a video, that purchase is no longer eligible for a refund, as computing resources have been consumed.
- Credits do not expire and never roll over into a billing cycle, because no billing cycle exists.
5. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please email us at contact@rendrio.io with the following information:
- Your account email address.
- The date and amount of the transaction.
- The reason for your refund request.
- Any relevant transaction IDs or order numbers (available in your account dashboard or your Polar receipt).
We will review your request and respond within 5 business days. If approved, refunds are processed to your original payment method through Polar (polar.sh), our Merchant of Record, and may take 5 to 10 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your financial institution.
6. Refund Timeline
All refund requests must be submitted within the following timeframes:
- Failed video generation: within 14 days of the failed attempt.
- Duplicate charges: within 30 days of the charge.
- Unauthorized charges: within 60 days of the charge.
- Unused credit pack: within 14 days of the purchase, provided no credits from the pack have been used.
Requests submitted after these timeframes will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis but are not guaranteed to be honored.
7. Disputes
If you are unsatisfied with the outcome of a refund request, you may escalate the matter by replying to our response email with additional details or context. We will conduct a secondary review of your case. If you remain unsatisfied, you may pursue resolution through the dispute mechanisms described in our Terms of Service, including filing a dispute with your payment provider.
8. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. The policy in effect at the time of your purchase will apply to that transaction.
